Tonight at 7:30 pm, Peoria Players presents Christmas in the City. The show continues Friday thru Sunday at 7:30 pm and 2:30 pm on Saturday and Sunday. The Folepi’s Winter Wonderland, a 2-mile drive-through electric park, continues through December 31st. Displays include leaping reindeer, the Candy Cane Factory, circus animals, a ski jump, and the new Folepi’s Fireworks Spectacular which simulates a fireworks grand finale. The Winter Wonderland will be open from 5 pm – 9 pm. Prices are: cars & vans – $10, limousines & rvs, $20, party buses (more than 15 people) are $50 & full-sized buses are $150.

The Folepi’s Laser Theatre also continues at the Festival Building in East Peoria through December 31st. Stay warm and cozy while watching holiday-themed shows featuring laser lights, holiday graphics and Christmas carols sure to wow the entire family. Shows are free and run at 6 pm, 7 pm and 8 pm seven days a week, with matinees available on Saturday and Sunday at 2:30 pm.

The River Trail Classic, open to men, women and children, features a competitive 4-mile run and non-competitive 2-mile walk on the scenic River Trail of Illinois.
