The Peoria Chiefs take on the Clinton Lumber Kings at 6:30 pm

Comedian Barry Neal will perform at the Jukebox Comedy Club tonight
at 8 pm. He returns Friday and Saturday night with shows at 8 pm

On Golden Pond continues tonight through Saturday at 7:30 pm at
Corn Stock Theatre. Presented to critical acclaim both on
Broadway, and then on film (starring Fonda & Hepburn), this
touching, funny and warmly perceptive study of a spirited elderly
couple facing their twilight years comes once more to the Corn
Stock stage. Tickets are $11 for adults and $9 for students and are

Smoke on the Mountain at the Barn II Theatre continues tonight
through Sunday. On Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays, doors open at 6

On Friday and Saturday, Jay Goldberg Events and Entertainment
hosts the 20th annual Illinois Blues Fest on Peoria ’s RiverFront.

Day Out With Thomas 2008: The Great Discovery Tour continues this
weekend at the Illinois Railway Museum . Fun activities will

The Center for Prevention of Abuse 20th Annual Duck Race will take

Projekt Revolution Tour featuring Linkin Park . The blood drive
will be held from 1 – 7 pm and the concert from 4 – 10 pm. The
concert is free to all blood drive participants. A $10 donation to
the American Red Cross will be collected at the event for those not

Theatre, featuring the music of legendary artist, Elton John.

The Complete Works Wm Shakespeare (Abridged) will be presented
tonight beginning at 7:30 pm and Sunday at 7:30 pm, Titus

Shrew will be presented on Saturday night at 8 pm at the Illinois
Shakespeare Festival in Bloomington . Tickets range in price from

Soul Fest 2008 opens Friday with a day filled with local and
professional Gospel groups and artists. On Saturday, the event
will feature soul and funk musicians. The event takes place on the
Peoria RiverFront where merchants and food will also be available.

Summer Serenades, Ameren’s popular free concert series, welcomes
the Central Illinois Jazz Train. Under the direction of Central
Illinois jazz legend Larry Harms, Held at Lakeview Museum on the
lawn, the performance begins at 7 pm. The event is sponsored by
Ameren in cooperation with Lakeview Museum & the Peoria Park
District.
