The Home Builders Association of Greater Peoria will present their Official Spring Home Show at the Peoria Civic Center this weekend. Three Sisters Folk Art School will host the 2010 Mountain Dulcimer Weekend at the Chapel at Three Sisters Park in Chillicothe. The Pekin Noteables will host one of the longest running show choir invitationals in the nation, the Pekin February Festacular Show Choir Invitational on Saturday at Pekin Community High School. A benefit for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in honor of Dax Locke will take place at the Five Points Center in Washington on Saturday from 10 am – 4 pm. The event, called “Dax’s Day”, is seeking to raise $1.6 million. Proceeds will benefit the not-for-profit hospital which treats children with cancer without asking for payment.
