Lift Every Voice: The Music of Black Americans Through History, a Black History Celebration, will take place tonight (Thursday) from 6 – 7:30 pm at at Proctor Recreation Center (located at 309 S. DuSable in Peoria). Featuring musical selections by the Heritage Ensemble and speaker Mrs. Sharon Samuels Reed, Founder and Artistic Director of the Heritage Ensemble, admission to the concert is free. Refreshments will be served.
Neil Simon’s “Come Blow Your Horn” will be presented by the Barn 2 Dinner Theatre in Goodfield tonight (Thursday) through Sunday.
