Learn the way the masters did and draw inspiration from original works of art sketching a piece or two to take home with you. All ages and skill levels are welcome to check out a kit (folding stool, sketching paper, a clipboard, and a pencil) from the front desk, or bring your own sketchbook: pencils only please. There is no cost to borrow supplies and all ages are invited, however ages 16 and under require an adult in attendance. Admission is free for members and with general admission, which is $11 for adults, $10 for seniors citizens 60+ or $9 for youth 3-17 plus Peoria county residents receive a 15% discount. The Peoria Riverfront Museum will present “The Early History of Bicycling in Peoria“, a free lecture by local historian Chris Sweet, on Sunday at 1 pm with free access to the Street Gallery all day.
