The Italian-American Society of Peoria will host its 83rd Annual Summer Festa picnic on Sunday from noon to 7 pm at Hickory Grove Park (located off Illinois Route 40 north of Peoria). The event features Italian food, beverages, gift booths, music, children’s activities, a spaghetti-eating contest, scholarship awards, and bocce ball.
