Peoria Historical Society’s River City Trolley Tour that winds along Grandview Drive takes place on Friday beginning at 10:30 am leaving from Harp & Thistle (located at 4605 N Prospect Road in Peoria Heights).  The Abraham Lincoln Trolley Tour takes place on Saturday beginning at 10:30 am leaving from Kelleher’s Irish Pub (located at 619 SW Water Street in downtown Peoria) and takes you through Springdale Cemetery to see the final resting place of Civil War veterans and by the GAR Hall, built in 1909 and hear the story of Joseph Greenhut, one of the Whiskey Barons who provided funding for the Hall.  The Haunted Peoria Tour is where you’ll hear the stories behind the ghostly appearances that have startled and puzzled Peorians through the years which also takes place on Saturday beginning at 1 pm also leaving from Kelleher’s Irish Pub.  Cost for each tour is $15 and seniors 65 and older ride the trolley free with proof of age and a regular ticket purchase.
